Authorities say a man was arrested Sunday in connection to a string of tire slashings at a hotel in Ronkonkoma.

Teshawn Farris faced a judge on 11 felony charges in connection with the crime spree.

Prosecutors say Farris terrorized employees and guests at Clarion Hotel last month by slashing tires of several employees' cars, pulling the hotel fire alarm 20 separate times, damaging the fire alarm and threatening one worker with a knife.

Prosecutors did not say why the 26-year-old Wheatley Heights man allegedly targeted the hotel workers.

News 12 Long Island first reported about the case on Jan. 2 .

Police began the investigation when victims discovered their vehicles' tires slashed on Dec. 24. Prosecutors say five of Farris's victims were hotel workers.

Several of the damaged cars belonged to people who paid to park at the hotel lot while taking a flight out of nearby MacArthur Airport.

Authorities say Farris returned to the crime scene Saturday morning where he allegedly slashed more tires. A 911 caller tipped off police and Farris was arrested a short time later.

In addition to the alleged crimes at the hotel, police charged Farris with keying a Tesla parked at the Ronkonkoma train station, causing $3,850 in damages.

Farris pleaded not guilty to a slew of charges, including criminal mischief, falsely reporting an incident and menacing.

The judge issued five stay away orders to Farris and set bail at $10,000 cash.

Farris's next court date is Jan. 27.
