The front lawn of the Old Courthouse in the city of Adrian, Michigan is expected to be awash with people rallying to get Justice for Dee on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 1 PM. Dee Ann Warner, a businesswoman, mother, grandmother, sister, and dear friend was reported missing from her Tecumseh, Michigan home by her adult children on April 25, 2021.

Her family is certain she did not vanish by choice. Her farm is one of many, situated on a dirt road. She is described as a fancy woman. She drove a Hummer and a Cadillac. Neither were taken. She had her eyelashes done the day before she went missing, and scheduled a future appointment. Her nephew, Parker Hardy told me, “Her kids and grandchildren were her world.” Yet none of them have heard from her since. Her nine-year-old daughter was left behind, which Hardy is adamant Dee would never do. “Not in a million years,” Hardy said.

The night before Dee was reported missing, she had a friend pick up her minor daughter. She planned to tell her husband, Dale Warner, she wanted a divorce. Dee didn’t want her daughter to witness an ugly argument. The next morning, Dale Warner claims she was asleep on the couch when he left for work at 6 AM. When one of her adult daughters brought her family over to Dee’s house for their usual Sunday morning breakfast at 9 AM, Dee was nowhere to be found. Hours later, Dale claimed to find Dee’s $50,000 wedding ring on his desk in their office.

Security cameras don’t show Dee leaving her house or entering their office, a building located next to their home. Her cellphone and Apple Watch went dead early Sunday morning. She left an envelope of cash in her desk, never used a passport or bank card, yet her husband maintains she took off to Mexico or Jamaica.

After almost a year without answers from Lenawee County Sheriff Office, a task force was formed between Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police, and the FBI in March. That was also when the family asked Billy Little, Jr., nationally recognized investigative attorney, for help. He formed a team of experts and has been working the case every day since. “I am not making a penny from this case. All I want to do is find the truth, where ever that leads. I care about justice and I care about this family,” Little told me.

Now it’s been over 15 months, and despite a mountain of evidence gathered by Little and his team, there have been no arrests. On Monday, August 1, 2022, concerned citizens are gathering on the front lawn of the Old Courthouse located at 301 N. Main Street in Adrian, Michigan to rally to get Justice For Dee.

For those planning to attend, here is a map of suggested parking areas:

Kathryn Adams, host of the rally and long-time friend of Dee, is encouraging people to wear their Justice for Dee t-shirts, something purple, Dee’s favorite color, or cheetah print clothing. “They can feel free to bring homemade signs or their yard signs,” Adams said.

At 1:00, Kathryn Adams and Parker Hardy will make opening statements. Then, there will be four speakers: Senator Dale Zorn, Investigative Attorney, Billy Little, Jr., Lenawee County Sheriff, Troy Bevier, and Dee’s brother, Gregg Hardy.

Those wanting to help Dee’s family get answers can sign a petition to get Dana Nessel, Michigan’s Attorney General involved in the case and have the case moved to Michigan State Police. If you haven’t already signed, you can do so here. It is a quick and easy process that can make a huge difference.

If you are attending the rally, I will see you there! If you are making signs, I would love to know what they say in the comments!
