Dee Ann Warner, 52, of Tecumseh, Michigan was reported missing from her rural home April 25, 2021. In March 2022, frustrated family members feared the case was growing cold. After seeing Billy Little, Jr., a nationally recognized attorney on an episode of 48 Hours, they reached out to him for help. He immediately agreed and went to work — pro bono. “All I want is the truth and to get justice for this family,” he said.

Within days, Little was key to setting up a task force between Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police (MSP), and the FBI. When he realized the case was too much for local law enforcement, he pushed to have it taken over by the MSP. On August 1, 2022, Little stood in front of the courthouse at a Justice for Dee rally and voiced his displeasure as to how the case had been handled. “We offered the best experts in this country, and they refused our help.” Then, Lenawee County Sheriff, Troy Brevier, took the microphone and announced he would be turning the case over to the MSP.

That was great news to Dee’s family and the community. Little understood it would take time for the MSP to sift through over 100 witness testimonies and the mountain of evidence collected. But after the MSP had the case almost 90 days without any discernable progress, Little applied more pressure.

On October 23, 2022, Little issued a statement on the podcast, The Interview Room, which is hosted by Chris McDonough, a retired homicide detective and behavioral analyst, who has worked closely with Little on the disappearance of Dee Ann Warner. “The evidence is overwhelming,” Little said. “The clock is ticking. There needs to be an arrest by December 1st, and if there’s not, I’m going to drop some bombs in December and people are going to be shocked when they hear what’s going on.”

Dee’s family and community eagerly waited to see what would happen. When December 1st passed, Little told me he hadn’t forgotten his promise and said he and McDonough would be putting out a podcast soon. “We are men of our word,” he said.

I interviewed Little today as he was driving from Lenawee County back to his Missouri home. “I’ve been in town the last several days, and trust me, I’ve been busy. I had several meetings and interviewed more witnesses. I wanted to do the podcast this Sunday, but there are going to be some developments within the next week and I’m going to want to talk about them. Therefore, Chris and I will share updates in The Interview Room December 18th at 7:00 PM.”

When asked if he could give me a hint as to what he planned to reveal, he laughed and said, “I don’t want to get ahead of my skis. There’s a lot happening behind the scenes right now. I’ll have a lot to say in the podcast — and some people aren’t going to like it. But that’s not my concern. My concern is that Dee gets justice, and the truth is told. That’s the only reason I do cases like this.”

It’s no secret Little and Dee’s family believe her husband, Dale Warner, is responsible for Dee’s disappearance. Once Little was on the case for several months, he exposed several people in what he refers to as, “Dale’s web of support.”

Time and again, Little has vowed to work the case until the person or persons that took Dee Ann Warner from her five children and six grandchildren is held accountable. “I’m not going anywhere,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dee’s husband, Dale Warner, is scheduled to face possible criminal contempt proceedings December 13, 2022.

What bombshells do you hope Billy Little, Jr. drops in The Interview Room on Sunday, December 18th, 2022? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
