'Something is amiss': FBI Director Patel deletes post about Wisconsin judge arrest
By Krystina Alarcon Carroll,
12 days agoFBI director Kash Patel deleted a tweet that announced the arrest a Wisconsin judge accused of trying to help an undocumented migrant avoid arrest.
"Just NOW, the FBI arrested Judge Hannah Dugan out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin on charges of obstruction — after evidence of Judge Dugan obstructing an immigration arrest operation last week," Patel posted on X. "We believe Judge Dugan intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject — an illegal alien — to evade arrest."
Many in the mediasphere were quick to notice the removal.

DC Examiner’s Christian Datoc , who was quick to repost Patel’s deleted tweet, was one of the first to notice, saying “FBI Director Kash Patel has now deleted this tweet, announcing the arrest of a WI state judge for 'intentionally' blocking a deportation arrest.”
As did NPR Investigative Correspondent Tom Dreisbach , “FBI Director Kash Patel appears to have deleted this post announcing the arrest of a Wisconsin judge.”

“Kash deleted the tweet. Something is amiss,” Podcast host Fred Wellman wrote.
Even conservative outlet “Daily Caller” called Patel out on deleting the post saying “Director Kash Patel announced today in a since-deleted post that the FBI had arrested Judge Hannah Dugan "after evidence of Judge Dugan obstructing an immigration arrest operation last week."
Harvard Professor and CNN Senior National Security Analyst Juliette Kayyem reacted with a possible explanation for the deletion. “Kash Patel's announcement about the arrest of a judge has been deleted, possibly because it included the line 'we believe' rather than 'we found/proved.’ Is it just me?”
