But in a double unfortunate event, an innocent 61-year-old man, who was a visitor from the Bronx, was standing down below.

Both men died at the scene, according to the NY Post.

The Cromwell Towers is 12 stories high, according to News 12. Det. Lt. Dean Politopoulos said, "It's just a tragic set of circumstances. In this case, it's not one life that was taken but two. Both families are greatly distraught and impacted by what happened here.”

“The incident appears to be a tragic situation and the investigation is ongoing,” Yonkers police said in a statement.

Witnesses and family members of both men are part of the police’s investigation.

This is not the only incident in which someone committed suicide off the Locust Hill Avenue complex.

A video dated Nov. 18, 2020, claims a man either jumped out of a window or on top of the roof on 77 Locust Hill Ave. due to a mental health crisis.
